Exchange/Return Policy

  1. All returns and exchanges must be made within 14 days from the DATE OF ARRIVAL. The customer must call The Suit Closet and obtain an RA number (see below) to return/exchange their item(s) and process their shipment prior to the 14th day.
  2. The Suit Closet is more than happy to accept your return or exchange requests. You must call The Suit Closet at 213-747-2829 or email us at info@thesuitcloset.com during business hours for your RA (Return Authorization) number before returning items. Your return will be declined and returned at your expense if proper protocol is not taken to process shipment.
  3. If you are unhappy with a size or item, you can exchange it for another size or item provided the item has not been washed, worn, and is in re-sellable condition. You are responsible for all shipping costs, which will include shipping the new item(s) to you. You will need an RA number for exchanges as well as returns.

    Returns made to The Suit Closet will not be accepted if your item(s) or shipment:
    a. has no RA assigned or is not written on the outside of the shipping box
    b. show signs of being washed, worn, damaged or altered in any way
    c. item(s) are missing tags or contents
  4. All returns will be subject to a $15 restocking fee. A refund will be applied in the same form it was received less shipping/handling costs, discounts received (if any) and the restocking fee. Please allow 3-5 business days upon receipt of returned items for refund to be processed. Exchanges will be processed in the total amount of the item less shipping/handling costs and discounts received (if any). Returns can be requested to be processed as credit to avoid paying the restocking fee. Please indicate you would like credit as opposed to a refund when receiving your RA number.
  5. If you received the wrong item or the item is defective/damaged, please call us immediately. Upon verification of the order, we will assign you an RA number to return the items. Once we receive your return, we will ship your correct or new items.

All items are processed and shipped using our “Double Verification” system ensuring your items will arrive as you ordered in crisp condition.

Processing your return/exchange: RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RA) NUMBER

  1. RA numbers are assigned in a systematic format allowing us to process your return/exchange in an efficient and effective manner. This results in our customers receiving their new items or refund as quickly as possible.
  2. RA numbers must be obtained within 14 days from the DATE OF ARRIVAL. Requests after 14 days will be denied.
  3. You must obtain your RA number by calling The Suit Closet during regular business hours. See below for contact information and business hours.
  4. RA NUMBERS MUST BE WRITTEN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX CLEARLY AND VISABLY. EXAMPLE: RA1234
  5. Inside the box you must include the RA sheet filled out completely. If you do not have a RA sheet, please call us and we will email or fax you one.

REMEMBER: All RETURNS/EXCHANGES must include the RA number and RA sheet or your shipment WILL BE REFUSED!!!

CHANGING/CANCELLING AN ORDER
In most cases, once an order is placed, we are not able to cancel the order due to the speed in which we process and ship orders. However, please call us as soon as possible so we can assist you accordingly.
